Abstract

Students consider the memorization lessons in the science lesson boring so there is a need for other method innovations. The purpose of this study is to increase the enthusiasm for learning to participate in science and science lessons and improve learning achievement. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (PTK), which is an action carried out by teachers or groups of teachers to test the assumptions of an educational theory in a practice, or as a means of evaluating and implementing all school program priorities. The results of the study showed that the learning achievement of students in the field of science class IV MI Maraqitta'limat Jembatang Kemar increased after applying the group guidance method through classroom action research which consisted of two cycles. This can be seen after classifying the grades based on the total number of class IV students that the percentage increase in student learning achievement is 85% complete, this means that they have met the specified standards, namely 85% of all students.
