Abstract

In the process of teaching and learning PAI subjects, asmaul husna materials are often easily bored by
students, low interest and motivation in learning, lack of understanding of the material presented, even
when evaluated the results are not optimal. The purpose of this study is to find a strategic step in
learning Asmaulhusna material by using an effective method and in line with the needs of elementary
school students, namely the Make a Match Method. The type of research used in this study is
experimental research with the type of Class Action Research. The results of the implementation of cycle
I and cycle II actions using the make a match method showed an improvement in student learning
outcomes. This can be seen from the average student score in the first cycle of 76 with the number of
students who reached KKTP as many as 9 students or 53%. Then in the second cycle the average number
of students increased to 81 with the number of students who reached KKTP as much as 15 or 88%.
