Abstract

Information technology is developed with the aim of assisting human existence in the
resolution of problems that arise, allowing problems to be dealt with more quickly and
effectively than was possible before. In turn, technology that has become a necessity is widely
utilised for human activities, one of which is the provision of educational opportunities. This
research was conducted to improve the pedagogic competence of MI teachers with AR-based
learning media development training (Augmented Reality) in accordance with subjects in
Madrasah Ibtidaiyah for Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers. In conducting this research, the
author used the PTK (class action research) method which was carried out by conducting
community empowerment activities carried out on the KKG of grade 6 Madrasah Ibtidaiyah
teachers in Pekalongan Regency, Central Java. The activity was held at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah
(MI) Walisongo Podo, Kec. Kedungwuni, Kab. Pekalongan. The results showed that on
average, participants were able to follow the instructor's directions in creating 3D objects and
combining 3D objects into virtual reality.
