Abstract

This study is meaningful in answering the problem: can the Assignment Method improve student learning outcomes in learning Islamic Religious Education, the Main Material of Love of the Prophet and Apostles in Class I of SD Negeri Songgom 02? These problems were discussed through classroom research actions carried out in 2 cycles with the stages of each cycle being planning, action, observation and reflection. The data in this research was obtained from teachers (observation) and students through observation, tests and documentation. Based on pre-cycle data (before the research was conducted), the average student score was 67.40, while data from research results from cycle I to cycle II showed that student learning outcomes in the learning process through the application of the assignment method experienced a significant increase. from previous 55 learning and test results also experienced an increase from cycle I to cycle II, namely by 73% with an average of 72.67 in cycle I to 90% with an average of 79.33 in cycle II. This proves that the Assignment Method can improve student learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education subjects on the subject of Love of the Prophet and Apostle in class I at SD Negeri Songgom 02. So, the application of the Assignment Method can improve student learning outcomes in Religious Education learning. Islam The main material is Love of Prophets and Apostles in class I at SD Negeri Songgom 02.
