Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity in the form of training and corpus introduction is to introduce the use of corpus in English learning so that the words or sentences produced both in oral and written contexts are words or sentences commonly used in English. This training activity involved 25 high school English teachers under the auspices of the Ma'arif PCNU educational institution in Pekalongan City as well as several English teachers who are members of the MGMP for High School English in Pekalongan Regency. The output of this community service activity is an article published in a national journal that can be used as a study material related to the importance of using a corpus in teaching English.
