Strategi Dakwah Melalui Pendidikan Islam Anti Radikalisme

Abstract

It is undeniable that the success of early Islamization in Indonesia lies in the da'wah strategy used by the propagators of Islam. One of the da'wah strategies is education. Departing from the outbreak of the phenomenon of radicalism in Indonesia lately, this paper intends to initiate an Islamic anti-radicalism education as an urgent preaching strategy to be pursued. This research is a library research with a qualitative approach. Source of data comes from information from information media both print, electronic and social media. The information is then analyzed inductively to describe how to provide alternative solutions to stem radicalism in Indonesia. Islamic education directs and guides students in the process of growth and development of their fitrah through Islamic teachings. The learning activities that are held can be endeavored to provide direction as well as reinforcement to students so that later they become individuals who have a tolerant, moderate and peace-loving attitude. The values of Islam Rahmatan lil 'Alamin and the principle of Ahlussunnah wal Jama’ah are strived to be internalized in every level of education, starting from family education as the first place for education, formal education, and education in the community. The synergy of the three is an Islamic da'wah strategy that should be pursued to break the regeneration of radical groups in this country.
