Abstract

This research is motivated by bomb cases which are increasingly common in Indonesia. The act of suicide bombing which was later referred to as an act of terrorism is currently not only done by adults but has already begun to be carried out by adolescents. The purpose of this research is to prove the relationship between spiritual intelligence variables and the potential for radicalism that occurs in adolescents. The study uses a correlational quantitative approach with data collection using a scale of spiritual intelligence and radicalism. Taking the subject using simple random sampling techniques in high school / vocational school adolescents in the age range of 15-18 years. The results of the data collected were then analyzed statistically which gave the following results: value (rxy): -0.573 at (p): 0,000 (p <0.01) These results indicate that there is a significant negative relationship between spiritual intelligence and the potential for emergence radicalism in adolescents Other results show that the effective contribution of the variable x to y is 57.3%.
