Abstrak

The Role of Islamic Education in Building a Superior Generation in the Era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 discusses how Islamic education can adapt and transform in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. Islamic education has an important role in preparing a superior generation that is ready to face the challenges and opportunities in this era. Through the development of skills and competencies needed, such as critical thinking, problem solving, creativity, and innovation, as well as the formation of a strong character, Islamic education can help form a superior generation. The transformation of Islamic education, including the development of a curriculum that suits the needs of the industrial era 4.0, the use of innovative and creative learning methods, and the improvement of the quality of educators and education personnel, are key in achieving this goal. With the right transformation, Islamic education is expected to produce superior generations who are ready to face the challenges and opportunities in the industrial era 4.0, and become agents of change that can bring progress to the nation and state. The research method uses library research by collecting data from writings (literacy) that have a connection with the topic discussed, namely the role of Islamic education in building a superior generation in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. The data is taken from documentation in the form of books, research journals, and supporting articles. The discussion method uses descriptive-analytical method, which explains and elaborates the main ideas related to the topic discussed. Then present it critically through primary and secondary literature sources related to the theme.
