Abstract

This study aims to analyze student (santri) management in the cadreization process of da’i and muballigh at Takwinul Muballighin Islamic Boarding School, Yogyakarta. The research employs a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that the cadreization system is systematically implemented through three curriculum pillars: ta’limi (strengthening Islamic theoretical knowledge), tarbawi (character building), and da’awi (practical engagement in community-based preaching). The implementation of flagship programs such as Kuliah Kerja Dakwah (KKD), along with other supporting activities, contributes to the comprehensive development of students’ competencies. These findings indicate that the student management system in the pesantren is holistic and adaptive to contemporary challenges. Therefore, this model has the potential to serve as a reference for developing da’wah cadreization in Islamic educational institutions, particularly through strengthening curriculum design and alumni networks for sustainable development.
