COLLABORATION OF ISLAMIC VALUES AND TECHNOLOGY IN SUSTAINABLE ISLAMIC EDUCATION (PAI) LEARNING AT STAI RAKHA AMUNTAI

This study aims to analyze the collaboration between Islamic values and the utilization of technology in sustainable Islamic Education (PAI) learning at STAI Rakha Amuntai within the context of digital transformation in Islamic education. In this study, digital transformation is defined as a shift in learning patterns through the integration of digital technology that influences instructional methods, academic interaction, and evaluation systems. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with lecturers and students, classroom observations, and documentation of learning media and platforms. The findings indicate that the use of PowerPoint (PPT), WhatsApp groups, and the Edlink application not only functions as technical tools but also reshapes communication patterns, discussion processes, and digital assignment management. The integration of Islamic values is reflected in the reinforcement of moral conduct (akhlak), etiquette (adab), academic honesty, responsibility, and learning intention through digital communication ethics, opening prayers, and anti-plagiarism reinforcement. This collaboration positively impacts students’ motivation, comprehension, and character development in sustainable learning practices. The study contributes to the development of a technology-based Islamic Education model grounded in Islamic principles while adapting to digital transformation.
