Mathematics is often considered complicated and difficult to understand, causing some students to feel intimidated and less enthusiastic about learning it. This can affect their mathematics performance, failing to meet satisfactory standards. Based on research at MI Salafiyah Sidorejo in Batang Regency, it was found that the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students in solid figures material are still low, with most students scoring below 60, indicating that they have not achieved adequate understanding. This condition is influenced by less meaningful learning experiences, primarily due to the limited use of instructional media to teaching modules. As a solution, this study proposes the development of mathematics learning media based on animated power point. This study uses the ADDIE development method (analyze, design, development, implementation, evaluate) with data collection techniques including questionnaires, tests, and interviews, as well as qualitative and quantitative descriptive data analysis. The results of the analysis show that the learning media are valid according to material experts and media experts. In terms of practicality, the media received a “very practical” rating from mathematics teachers and students. Meanwhile, in terms of effectiveness, there was a significant increase from pre-test (29.62%) to post-test (85.18%), indicating that the animated power point learning media successfully improved students understanding of mathematics. Thus, the use of animated power point-based learning media can be an effective alternative to improve students mathematics performance in solid figures material.
