Abstrak

The more advanced ICT (Technology, Information and Communication) in the era of globalization, of course, has positive and negative impacts. One of the positive impacts of advances in Technology, Information and Communication is the increasing variety of learning media. The era of globalization supports audio-visual learning media that are popular with children, including films. The film presents various kinds of stories with character education values in them, one of which is "Sokola Rimba". This study aims to determine the value of character education in the film and its relevance to character education for elementary school children. Researchers used descriptive qualitative research, researchers found 16 character education values in the film. Based on content analysis, it was found that this film is relevant for instilling character education in elementary school -age children.
