Poverty Reduction Strategies in the Sharia Maqashid Perspective: Case Study of Pekalongan District

Abstrak

This study aims to analyze poverty reduction strategies in Pekalongan Regency in the perspective of Maqashid Syariah. The approach method used is qualitative and the data used is primary data obtained from the results of interviews conducted with community representatives and representatives of the Coordinating Team for Poverty Reduction (TKPK) of Pekalongan Regency. The interpretation of the data used in this paper is a descriptive analysis method. The results of the research include: Strategies implemented in Pekalongan Regency through: Increasing income & Reducing Expenses. In the perspective of Maqashid Sharia, they include: a) religion, b) soul, c) reason, d) heredity, e) property. Safeguarding religion is carried out by starting to strengthen people’s understanding that it is important to increase income to achieve prosperity for each family, so that achieving religious prosperity is a top priority. Burden reduction strategies in the perspective of mental care through health service delivery programs. Furthermore, in the perspective of guarding the mind as an effort to reduce the burden on Pekalongan Regency through the KUDU School program. Protection of offspring carried out in the Regency by providing uninhabitable housing programs, Safeguarding assets through food processing development training. So as to increase income for each community.
