Content Analysis of Moral Messages in the Novel Bidadari Bermata Bening by Habiburrahman El Shirazy

Abstract

This thesis is a research on literary essays Habiburrahman El Shirazy is a novel entitled "Bidadari Bermata Bening” The basis of this research is because readers in general have not can find out the essence of the message from what they read. Readers know only what is written. As for matters related to. The moral message has not been found completely in its true meaning. The aims of this research are: (1) to be able to find and put forward the moral messages contained in the novel “Bidadari Bermata Bening” by Habiburrahman El-Shirazy. (2) examine what moral messages which dominates the novel "Bidadari Bermata Bening" by Habiburrahman El-Shirazy, so that readers get the value of the benefits of the novel in order to improve the quality of morality in religion, morality family, social morals, and national morals. This research method uses a quantitative approach with techniques grouping the messages assisted by three competent judges in field, from elements of community leaders and educational leaders. From the results of this study, the researcher concluded that in the novel Habiburrahman El-Shirazy's "Bidadari Bermata Bening", found moral messages, namely religious moral values ​​27.1%, moral values family 36.3%, social moral values ​​31.7%, and moral values state 4.9%.
